About Our Client

Our client is biopharmaceutical company based in Shanghai, specializing in the development and commercialization of oncology and severe infection products. As they continue to grow globally, they are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their Singapore-based finance team.

Job Description

  • Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities for our Rest of World (RoW) entities
  • Prepare GST filings, withholding tax submissions, and assist in local tax compliance
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable cycles and assist in managing cash flow forecasts
  • Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure timely payments
  • Maintain the expense contract register and ensure timely accruals where required
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controls
  • Support external audits and tax reviews, ensuring accurate and timely documentation

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
