Job Description

  • Evaluate, negotiate, and approve RFQs for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with the approved supplier panel and pre-established rates before authorizing Purchase Orders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop clear and detailed functional specifications for tendering and supplier selection in line with the commodity strategy.
  • Conduct sourcing activities and gather proposals from potential suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends and negotiate commercial terms to secure optimal agreements with suppliers.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement procurement strategies tailored to specific commodities.
  • Conduct regular supplier assessments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations in all procurement activities.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of purchasing experience in MNC environment.
  • Previous experience in oil and gas is a plus.
  • Prior experience in handling SEA markets.
