They are currently looking for a Contract Administrator focusing on preparation & management of contracts, ensuring that the company policies & legal requirements are adhered to. About Our Client

  • Our client is a reputable and very well established commodity trading firm focusing on Crude & Refined Petroleum Products globally. They are currently looking for a Contract Administrator focusing on preparation & management of contracts, ensuring that the company policies & legal requirements are adhered to. This role will involve contract negotiation, risk management & compliance experience.

Job Description

  • Draft and review oil and gas sales & purchase contracts and confirmation.
  • Submit contracts and relevant emails for internal approval.
  • Send contracts/counters and follow up with counterparties timely.
  • Negotiate/confirm trading contract terms with counterparties.
  • Maintain trading contract files.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree in any discipline (Business Administration, Shipping or Legal related major preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in contract administration and preparation of contracts preferbly within the oil & gas sector.
  • Good knowledge of international trading terms, such as Incoterms.
  • Experience in preparation and management of contracts such as sales agreements.
  • Proficient in MS office applications, high organisational standards, and accuracy in dealing with contract documentation.
  • Able to work in fast pace environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
