We are seeking an experienced IBM FileNet & Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Migration Infrastructure Specialist to lead the migration, upgrade, and security hardening of IBM FileNet and BAW environments. This position will handle infrastructure management, system hardening, security vulnerability assessments, and compliance with enterprise security policies.This is a 10 months agency contract role - renewable/ extendable.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Migration & Infrastructure Management:

  • Plan, design, and execute FileNet & BAW infrastructure migration and upgrades across multiple environments (on-premise).
  • Perform system assessment, capacity planning, and performance tuning before and after migration.
  • Ensure seamless integration with databases, application servers, and external services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, connectivity, and configuration issues in FileNet and BAW environments.



Security & Compliance:

  • Support security vulnerability assessments and apply necessary patches to mitigate risks.
  • Implement system hardening techniques to strengthen the security posture of FileNet & BAW environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry security standards (CIS benchmarks) and organizational policies.
  • Work with security teams to configure and manage authentication, encryption, and access controls.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and audit mechanisms to track system security.



Automation & Optimization:

  • Develop automation scripts for installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
  • Optimize system resources to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

The Successful Applicant

  • Atleast 10 years of IT experience, with a focus on IBM FileNet & BAW infrastructure.
  • Experience on IBM FileNet P8, Content Navigator, Content Process Engine.
  • Worked on admin activities for migration/upgrade for FileNet and BAW to new servers.
  • Good understanding of Linux, Windows, WebSphere, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Experience in security vulnerability assessment, patching, and system hardening techniques.
  • Knowledge of network security, firewalls, SSL/TLS, IAM, and LDAP integration.
  • Worked on scripting skills in Shell, Python, Ansible, or PowerShell for automation.
  • Troubleshoot complex performance and security issues.
  • IBM Certified Administrator - FileNet P8 & BAW is good to have.
