They are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations and financial management of their group companies.Job DescriptionMonthly Closing & Consolidation: Manage the monthly closing of accounts for the management group companies, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial data.Forecasting & Variance Analysis: Provide monthly cash flow forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and ensure all reporting is completed on schedule.Intercompany Invoicing: Prepare and process intercompany invoicing, including for subsidiaries, affiliates, and reimbursement of fund-related expenses on a quarterly basis.Cost Allocation & Revenue Recognition: Oversee cost allocation and revenue recognition for different profit centers across the organization.Compliance Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for the management group companies.Budgeting: Lead and manage the annual budgeting process for the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.Audit & Statutory Reporting: Take charge of external audit coordination and statutory financial reporting requirements.Bank/Exchange/Custodian Accounts: Manage the opening and maintenance of bank, exchange, and custodian accounts for all entities, including fund and management group companies.Vendor Payments & Invoice Tracking: Process all vendor payments and maintain an organized invoice tracker for accurate records.Database & Filing Management: Maintain a proper record-keeping system and filing structure for financial data and documentation.Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake additional projects or tasks as assigned by management.The Successful ApplicantTo succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years experience in an asset management / Fund Management company focusing on corporate accountingExperienced in regional accounting is preferredAnalytical in problem solving, able to make judgement/recommendationsGood interpersonal and business communication skillsAbility to prioritise and work accurately with close attention to detail;Self-motivated, independent and fast learnerExperience in accounting software (e.g. Quickbook) is preferredFamiliar with MAS reporting and other regulatory requirements is an added advantageWhat's on OfferOur client is a well established and Venture Capital Firm with a strong global presence.
