Their services support clients in achieving compliance, improving product reliability, and gaining market trust.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a team in field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including concrete, aggregates, soils, asphalt, steel, and other relevant materials.Manage laboratory efficiency, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and safe operations.Maintain strict adherence to the company's Quality System and ISO 17025 laboratory management standards.Provide technical guidance and training on test result interpretation for both internal teams and clients.Verify and approve test results in accordance with international standards (BS, EN, ASTM, etc.).Act as a key technical liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.Identify growth opportunities and potential service expansions for the laboratory.Drive business performance, monitor financial metrics, and report to senior management.Conduct technical presentations and engagement sessions with key stakeholders.Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing laboratory safety protocols.Collaborate with internal departments (administration, procurement, logistics, IT) to align laboratory management with corporate functions.The Successful ApplicantRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within laboratory operations and materials testing.Strong understanding of laboratory management, ISO 17025 accreditation, and testing standards (BS, EN, ASTM, etc.).SAC-SINGLAS signatory certification is an advantage.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain client relationships, understanding their technical and business needs.Proactive, resourceful, and decisive, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.High level of initiative, independence, and problem-solving ability.What's on OfferThe client offers candidates a rewarding career in a globally recognized leader in testing, inspection, and certification.
