We are seeking a dynamic Investment Banking Coverage Banker to lead and manage relationships with corporate and institutional clients headquartered in Southeast Asia. The role is based in Singapore and focuses on origination and execution of complex transactions including M&A, ECM,DCM, and strategic advisory.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship & Coverage



  • Act as a strategic advisor to corporate clients in Southeast Asia across key markets (e.g., Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines).


  • Build and sustain senior client relationships, identifying strategic financing and advisory opportunities.


  • Drive cross-border deal flow by leveraging the bank's global platform and sector/product teams.



Origination & Execution



  • Originate transactions across M&A, Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and strategic equity solutions and structure finance.


  • Oversee end-to-end execution of deals including valuation, due diligence, modeling, documentation, and closing.


  • Lead pitch preparation, proposals, and strategic dialogues, aligning client goals with banking capabilities.



Regional & Sector Intelligence



  • Provide market and sector insights to clients with a strong understanding of regulatory, economic, and geopolitical dynamics in Southeast Asia.


  • Monitor regional deal activity and competitor positioning to identify white space opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; MBA/CFA preferred.


  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or advisory, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia.


  • Proven execution experience in M&A, ECM, or DCM transactions.


  • Strong network and reputation among corporate clients and financial sponsors in the region.


  • Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and presentation skills.
