This HSE Manager position will be responsible for the implementation and management of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programmes in the projects the company handles and will also work closely with the team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement HSE programmes and policies in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Provide HSE training and education to the workforce.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Lead investigations into HSE incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
  • Liaise with external bodies and regulators on HSE matters.
  • Continuously improve the company's HSE culture and performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Professional qualification in HSE management such as registered WSHO with MOM, ECO with NEA
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards in the construction sector, with experience in airports, subways, sports stadiums, and other large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation.
