About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in the Maritime & Shipping industry with a significant presence in Singapore. They are currently expanding their HR team to align with the company's broader goals of efficiency and talent management.

Job Description

* Design and evaluate programs and initiatives that align with short, medium, and long-term talent planning objectives.
* Lead talent review and succession planning efforts to identify and nurture individuals for leadership and mission-critical roles.
* Conduct data analytics and build relevant databases, metrics, and visual dashboards to provide actionable talent insights.
* Execute talent development programs and initiatives that foster employee growth and engagement. Collaborate with line departments to create or refine success profiles and individualised development road maps, manage talent rotations, track progress on development plans, and facilitate career conversations.
* Support the performance appraisal process to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Assist the team in delivering additional leadership and career development initiatives as needed.

The Successful Applicant

* A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in talent management within a multinational corporation or large organisation.
* Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing talent development initiatives.
* Strong analytical capabilities with a high level of learning agility.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven project management, facilitation, and influencing abilities.
* Highly driven, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, with a keen attention to detail and strong process orientation.
* Collaborative team player, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in data analysis, MS Excel, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI). Strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
